Hummingbird Studios began when my husband and I moved to Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast of BC in 2009. We bought a beautiful home and built a studio to house my pottery studio and my husband's photography studio. (Billferguson.photography).
My interest is primarily in functional pottery that can be used and enjoyed. I do both wheel and slab work, and work mainly with a smooth white clay body. The inspiration for my work comes, not only from the beautiful place we live in, but also from my love of birds and of cooking. I hope you enjoy my photos. Please contact me if you have questions.
